Zac Slater - DAMN     Hip Hop, Soul 28/02/2020
There are few musicians as versatile as Zac Slater. The self-taught multi-instrumentalist from Launceston fuses elements of reggae/hip-hop with soulful vocals and upbeat acoustic guitar to create his signature sound.
Damn is a reflection of myself. Come along way since my new beginnings battled some demons now I’m kinda winning’ the opening lines... ‘New beginnings’ being a song on my first record I released back in 2016. Often though people close to you can leave you begging the question.. ‘ yeah but would you do it for me ?’

Françoistunes - RoséRed     Hip Hop, Pop 18/10/2019
Melbourne based Afro-Aus artist/producer Françoistunes mixes soulful tones and hard hitting Hip-Hop with a Pop sensibility. His music echoes tales of hard work, perseverance and champagne dreams of success.
RoséRed portrays emotions that are reminiscent of his first love and how he was completely swept up off his feet, feeling “butterflies in his stomach”.

Françoistunes describes the track’s sound as a soulful journey laced with a tropical twist to reflect the rose-tinted lens he views the story from in hindsight.

Yaw Faso - Reassurance     World, Hip Hop 11/10/2019
Raised in a musical household, Yaw Faso first stepped onto the scene in 2010 dabbling in hip-hop before discovering his true calling in the world of Afrobeat and Dancehall music.
‘Reassurance’ sounds like summer - bright and driven by melodies with its focus being on vocals. Yaw Faso naturally finds his groove on afro-beat/dancehall tracks and took a fresh approach when writing this song after a period of being in his father’s land of Ghana, where he was able to reflect on relationships and other intricacies in his life.

Ceeko - Magic     R&B, Soul, World, Pop 30/08/2019
CEEKO is a South African-born artist that now calls Melbourne home. However, he draws inspiration from his roots, combining afro-beat rhythms, melodies and spirit that influence his natural R&B/Soul cadence.
‘Magic’ has flourished into a vibrant portrayal of CEEKO's point of view of the world, where we see people living only to sacrifice their dreams and ambitions under the pressure of societal expectations. Drawing from Disney Classics, ‘Magic’ sounds like a swirl of colours expressed in harmonies and smooth cadences, moulded over powerful rhythms and a heavy melodic presence.

Zac Slater - I'm Alive     Indie, Easy Listening, Pop 27/08/2019
There are very few musicians as versatile as Zac Slater. The self-taught multi-instrumentalist from Launceston, Tasmania fuses elements of reggae and hip-hop with soulful vocals to create his signature sound.
‘I’m Alive’ is an intimate soundscape featuring soft yet soul-penetrating melodies, telling a story of the daily emotions we go through, trying to navigate through a plethora of experiences and emotions. Zac wrote ‘I’m Alive’ after being in a heavily reflective state of how much work he, and everyone else has put in over the years with seemingly no reward.

Francoistunes - Hawaii     Hip Hop 31/05/2019
As the soundscape evolves, this 25-year-old is evolving with it. A singer, songwriter, rapper and producer, Françoistunes has a creative mind overflowing with ideas and ambitions.
“It’s about a situation with this girl who wanted a relationship but I wasn't ready then I ended up catching feelings but it was too late. The feelings switched but we both are too insecure to let go so she used me as a safety net/booty call when her nights didn't go as well and she needed the feels.” Francoistunes

Kaiit - Miss Shiney     Funk/Soul, RnB, Hip Hop, Jazz 22/05/2019
‘Miss Shiney’. That’s how you could describe the way Kaiit’s aura radiates - she simply shines like the star she is.
‘Miss Shiney’, Kaiit’s new single, was inspired by her time away in her birthplace, Papua New Guinea. Produced by 18yearoldman and UnoStereo, ‘Miss Shiney’ wonderfully reflects Kaiit’s unique musical style and creates a neo-soul landscape that is colourful and smoothly expressive that is influenced by the cool tones of D’Angelo, Erykah Badu and Amy Winehouse with her own twist.

Yaw Faso has been working on a fresh breed of music in Australia. He draws inspiration from the UK, rap and hip-hop while fusing with contemporary Afrobeat hooks and breakdowns.
‘Buckle Up' is about shutting down rumours created by schemeful, envious or misinformed people that put energy into toxifying and plotting against good relationships - something that most of us can relate to when navigating our personal relationships through social circles whilst also working towards our own dreams and aspirations. ‘Buckle Up’ encourages reassurance, particularly focusing on loyalty.

Zac Slater is a fresh blend with upbeat acoustic rhythms, hip hop flow and soulful vocal melodies. All put together in a charismatic and passionate live performance.
Zac sums up the vibe as a “song that was solely based around
me and my guitar and the feel-good progression it
possesses. I heard a simple beat behind it and fried
chicken and tone with the guitars, Chuck in some
