Growing up playing guitar and piano, Pietro released his first track under his electronic alias in 2015, “Dark Sky”, and drew instant acclaim from the global indie EDM community and over 70k plays on his Soundcloud page.
His latest single “Bubblebeam” showcases the rising beatmaker’s love affair with jovial sounds and shimmering production, littering the pulsating soundscape with cute female vocal samples and a myriad of Nintendo 64 in-game sounds.
Produced entirely out of his bedroom studio and named after the ‘Bubblebeam’ sound effect in Pokémon Yellow, Alêtro initially created the song by making a drum pattern out of foley samples such as billiard balls colliding, spraying aerosol cans, and a horse trotting.
