A brutalising beautiful band with a lo-fi, high energy philosophy, Actor Slash Model utilise cheap toy keyboards, synths, old beat-up guitars and an ear for noise-pop to construct simple, beat-driven pop songs with stunning, fabulistic melodies and pleasuristic soundscapes. Think Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo, Electrelane and The Clash.
The band achieved critical praise with their debut release ‘Gossip About Guys’ which was supported with headline tours around the country and playlistings everywhere.

Spring-board pop. Instantly catchy hook with bright guitar chimes and keyboard sparks. A lush soundscapes gives way to shy, vulnerable vocals. An enchanting middle section builds to a sweet release and the chimes and sparks once again take over. No chorus, however. No need for one.
