Tracksuit originally formed in the USA by Steve Hensby (guitar/vox) who was studying a professional music degree at Berklee. Since then Steve has been around the block and has played in many a band including Silver Scene - Nick Littlemore (Pnau/Empire of the Sun). But in late 2007 it all came full circle back round to Tracksuit, with a new line up – Jay (drums) Andres (bass) in a new country – Australia!
Since conception the band have played 100+ gigs and have supported the likes of British India, Yves Klein Blue, MTV Kickstart finalists in 2008, Northbridge Festival and One Movement Festival in 2009 and they rocked JJJ’s One Night Stand after party in Collie to a 3000 strong crowd!
Having released the single ‘Tough Love’ and their self-titled EP which have both received airplay on triple j and RTR there seems to be a bit of a buzz happening in and around Perth, particularly after experiencing a Tracksuit live show!
Tracksuit have just finished their second EP - Where Have All The Good Times Gone? Which is due for release in early February and BIG things are expected from this threesome in 2011 and beyond!
