Triple-WAMi award winning electro-disco entertainer Tomás Ford puts on live dance music spectacles that combine live film projection, idiosyncratic songwriting, punk rock insanity and old school sense of showmanship.
Though he has a national underground notoriety built over fourteen multi-city tours, in his hometown of Perth, Tomás Ford has become somewhat of an institution, and, strangely enough; a bridge between different worlds. The electro crowd love him because he has an ear for a beat, the indie crowd love him because he has an eye for visual art, and the punks love him because he’s mad as hell.
It's led to his act building from messy back rooms to an impressive resume of successes; he's toured nationally with the Big Day Out, sold out Perth’s beautiful and historic Astor Theatre, an unlikely audience-winning trip as national support for Birds Of Tokyo, appearances at almost every conceivable WA festival, supports including Architecture In Helsinki, The Presets, Mouse On Mars & Gary Numan and recently went out on a multi-city co-headlining tour with Malaysian pop star Ze!, which resulted in a viral web hit in duet "'Til Death Do Us Part".
