Announce Debut Album:
“I Know This Now”
In-stores Fri June 10th, Perth based 5 piece Timothy Nelson & The Infidels have announced the release of their long awaited debut album “I Know This Now”.
Earning themselves a reputation as “one of Perth’s must-see live acts” (Xpress Magazine), the last eighteen months has seen Nelson and his Infidels support everyone from Birds Of Tokyo, Eskimo Joe, Hoodoo Gurus, Katie Noonan & The Captains, Whitley and Lior through to Clare Bowditch. All of this has been interspersed with consistently selling out their own headline shows. Big 500 capacity plus shows at that. Only just turned 21 years old, Nelson himself has taken home the coveted WAMi ‘Song Of The Year’ Award twice (2007 and 2009).
Over the last 12 months the band have released two singles from the forthcoming album, namely; Nothing’s In Tune and You Don’t Know What You’re Waiting For respectively. Receiving airplay everywhere from triple J through all major community radio nationally, both tracks have received resounding national accolades, setting the scene for the album.

About this track...
“I Know This Now” was recorded with engineer James Newhouse in various studios around Perth over the course of the last 2 years. Blending the jangly, guitar heavy folk rock reminiscent of Big Star and Wilco. Fittingly, the album was mastered at none other than Abbey Road Studios in London.
