The Stoics - Submarine Song

The Stoics - Submarine Song
The Stoics have independently recorded and released three Ep’s in the three years they have been together. Their latest Ep , ‘Death Machine’ was recorded in Hobart with Melbourne engineer Rob Long (Faker, Magic Dirt).

Their latest record is the first to feature the bands multi-instrumental capabilities: cello, double bass and violin arrangements further enrich their sound. When they tour, your town is their favourite town.

They have supported some of the best bands around across a myriad of genres; The Cat Empire, The New Pornographers (Canada) , The Getaway Plan, Cut Copy, Clare Bowditch, Yves Klien Blue, Bluejuice. The five-piece band is currently based in Tasmania and has performed extensively at festivals such as: Falls. MS Fest, Triple J’s AWOL, Festivale, Breath of Life, The Forest Festival.

The band has two drummers. Whilst one spends most of her time stretching her fingers behind the piano, their live show frequently features explosive and driving dual percussion from the male and female drum team.

About this track...
