The Box Rockets formed in 2008 as a reaction to reading Wiki Answers' 'How To Form A Rock Band.' Hailing from Sorrento, Ivanhoe, Oakleigh and Templestowe respectively, the band travel the far reaches of central Victoria in order to follow the 15 steps outlined in Wiki. Nonetheless, they convene as often as possible to play their lean, melodic and exciting tunes, the likes of which they hope will one day afford them a beautiful inner city share house where they can cook their own burgers and save money on fuel. In August 2009, the Box Rockets recorded their debut 'Throwing Stones EP', which was produced by Steven Schram (Little Birdy and Little Red), with help from Matt Chequer (Little Birdy). In 2010 the band will continue to chip away at that dense music industry block. They will strike the core yet.
About this track...
'Walk On' is a slow burning track which builds to a powerful moody climax. The verses are atmospheric and the chorus is explosive.
