Flyying Colours - It's Tomorrow Now     Rock, Psychedelic, Grunge 01/07/2016
Flyying Colours make reverb-drenched pop-music that echoes sounds of shoegaze, post-punk and psychedelia. After international releases of two beguiling EPs and endless touring, their debut album has just been completed.
Residing in a dream-world that sits between psych, indie, grunge and shoegaze, leading track and first single “It’s Tomorrow Now” opens with a chaotic looped squeal, the knockout punch of the frenzied opening riff and steady, driving drums sets the bar high for the debut album to follow in September.

MUSIC DIRECTOR PICK: Stephen Goodhew, FBi Radio, Sydney (NSW)

Warmth Crashes In - Loose     Rock, Psychedelic, Garage 21/09/2015
Warmth Crashes In somehow manage to mix garage psych rock and Berlin electro
“Loose” is named after bass player Tom’s late-night / alter ego: The Loose Moose. This first single breaks out of the blocks with with heavy bass loops and guitar sounds from another planet, and like everything they do, is bloody catchy.

Flyying Colours - Running Late     Rock, Psychedelic, Grunge 05/08/2015
Tone-bending guitars, ferocious bass hooks and the familiar soft hush of early 90s dueting vocals. Added to the mix is their own edgy, refreshing pop-mindedness, buoyed by lush vocal interplay
On ‘Running Late’ guitars overlap, playing seemingly different melodies and rhythms, as the vocals float up from the ether of the background. Hearkening back to the 80s but also at once sounding thoroughly futuristic

Flyying Colours - Not Today     Rock, Psychedelic, Garage 10/06/2014
“this tune is going to make a fan out of you! Presumptuous sure, but these guys are belting out a noise that instantly pricks peoples ears up” Sounds Better WithReverb
“Not Today” is another cracker of a single to follow up from the much loved “Wavy Gravy”. Guitars swirl behind rhythm section brothers Josh and Sam’s most incessant beat yet, topped off with trading boy/girl vocals, with even a hint of a chorus.

Wavygravy is the debut track for Flyying Colours. A fuzzy swim amongst a cacophony of guitars and pounding drums, with an ethereal male/female vocal entangled within the whole mess.
