Shanon Watkins & The Scattered Vision - Smell the Coffee before it turns to Tea
A group of Aussies sit around in staff housing rooms in Whistler, Canada. Using empty ice cream containers, upturned buckets and various pots and pans they start to jam, Suddenly Shanon Watkins busts in with vocals and guitar and everyone stops to listen. A trend which has now seen the singer/song writer and his band emerge as one of Brisbane's most talented and exciting new acts.

Driven by soulful vocals, acoustic guitar, melodies and lyrics all uniquely Watkins "The Scattered Vision" has crowds addicted to a sound described as Ben Harper meeting Jack Johnson at a Pearl Jam concert.

With Jeremy on electric guitar, Bretto on bass, Gabe on drums and Josie on keys/violin, their innovative songs and sound are a byproduct of a love for experimental jams and extremely talented musicians.

Recent slots on the big stage include playing at The Zoo, The Byron Bay Bluesfest and Caxton Street Seafood and Wine Festival. The Brisbane Bluesfest saw Shanon Watkins support Kevin Borich, Nathan Cavalerie, Ross Wilson and most recently Ash Grundwald and Kram from Spiderbait.

Shanon Watkins & The Scattered Vision have now released their 2nd EP “Laugh Til’it Hurts” which continues to gain momentum in the music scene.
