Sandy Evans has been exploring Indian music seriously since playing in the collaborative work “Into The Fire” in 1996, between the Australian Art Orchestra and India’s Sruthi Laya Ensemble.

Sandy has travelled to India for numerous study trips and taken on a guru in Sydney. Sarangan Sriranganathan plays sitar and has a soaring voice. Apart from teacher/student, Sandy plays in a band with Sarangan, called Citizens of Earth.
