White Summer - Dirty Highway     Blues/Roots, Rock, Alternative Country, Blues 29/06/2012
White Summer play the kind of music you have sex to, the kind of music a bear made and the kind of music you want to hear.
A hard hitting, sweaty track with a ballsy beat and roaring vocals. Could be the now-a-day 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' soundtrack.

Luke Escombe and the Corporation - Rock and Roll     Blues/Roots 29/06/2012
In 2009 Luke moved to an apartment in Manly, which the locals call Mantown. Mantown became more than a place but a state of mind - an attitude of defiance.
When recording this track the key for Luke was to capture the energy of the band playing live. ‘I didn’t want to fix anything in post or add unnecessary layers of production to the raw product. We played until we got a take that left us shaking’ said Luke.

Day of the Meerkat partywith the crowd and are not afraid of disaster…or a little humour. They can make you smile as you get clobbered in the circle pit.
'Tokyo Black Wolf' takes aim at the ‘Tokyo’, ‘Black’, ‘Wolf’ band-name zeitgeist with a tongue-in-cheek jab at the ludicrousness of rock music fashion, fads and image. The frenetic rock’n’roll of the new single lampoons the absurdity of all of it…. and more.

The Sun And The Sky - River     Rock, Pop 28/06/2012
Like The Killers with a good dose of Placebo, but less eyeliner – so far! Attitude Magazine (Dec 2011) described us as "the rock'n'roll version of the Presets".
Inspired by a lot of love for Interpol, a new synth in the band and a broken relationship of our lead singer. Recorded and mixed with a few different mates in studios and lounge rooms across Adelaide!

The Better Mousetrap Treatment are an indie band from Brisbane who specialise in the sunny, melancholic pop the city has become famous for.
The first single from the EP, “Sidewalk Glass”, is a
jangling slice of sunny pop that will surely delight any
fans of Brisbane’s famed ‘striped sunlight sound’. Rife
with clever wordplay and ear-catching imagery, the
song skips along with a toe-tapping, head-nodding
breeziness that belies its melancholy lyricism.

Graveyard Train - One Foot On The Grave     Rock, Blues, Alternative Country, Roots 28/06/2012
Graveyard Train are a seven piece collective from Melbourne Australia. Seven men playing men’s instruments just as men were born to do.
Three socks, one afternoon and a camera spawned the irreverent clip for 'One Foot on the Grave'. Incorporating a wider sonic approach than previous releases, the tune still retains hallmarks of the band: upright bass, spooked guitars, gang vocals and strong storytelling.

Colourful, noise/pop band who don't sound remotely like their immediate peers. A focus on songs and interesting compositions means no two songs share a style. Instantly appealing with de-tuned instruments.
Spring-board pop. Instantly catchy hook with bright guitar chimes and keyboard sparks. A lush soundscapes gives way to shy, vulnerable vocals. An enchanting middle section builds to a sweet release and the chimes and sparks once again take over. No chorus, however. No need for one.
