The Good China - No More Maps, No More Roads     Rock, Pop 20/10/2011
The Good China is an eight-piece from Melbourne. Their charming indie pop has made some people clap hands, some people sing, jump and scream at the top of their lungs.
A song about moving up, moving out, and moving on. Built on handclaps, fuzzed-up guitars and an insistent drum beat, it recalls the trepidation and triumph of our growing pains while hurtling towards a jubilant finale. Brash and big hearted, it's become a solid fan favourite and a live highlight.

The Good China - All Nothing     Pop, Rock 29/09/2009
With a swag of instruments and short attention spans come Melbourne 8 piece indie-pop troupe 'The Good China'.
"This fast-paced, hooky, full-of-refrain-goodness song quickly reveals to the careful listener the massive spread of talent that Melbourne’s eight-piece have at their fingertips." This Reality Podcast

"i heard this on the radio a couple of weeks ago and it made me so insanely happy." Triple J Unearthed

The Glorious are purveyors of classic songcraft and transcendent melody. Formed in Melbourne in 2004 with classic touchstones such as Bruce Springsteen and The Band.
There's a place along the Capital City Trail in Brunswick where I used to walk. Sometimes I'd be tired and sad but when I got to where the trail meets the Upfield train line -- it'd always make my spirits lift. This song is about walking that trail.

The Gallant Trees - I'd Rather Be Birdwatching     Metal/Punk, Experimental 29/03/2013
A fun song about wishing you were Birdwatching instead of being stuck in an office doing paper work

Other tracks by The Gallant Trees:  Pigeons Are The Best Headbangers  -  Bring Her Back
The Fumes - Who Do You Love     Rock, Blues 07/10/2009
You may wonder how a two-piece can garner so much hype. In the case of mighty-bearded vocalist/guitarist Steve Merry and drumming prodigy Joel Battersby, the gushing is with good reason.
Who Do You Love the fuzz-laden barnstormer is all gristle, brawn and brawling swagger. Riff-maestro and ragged-throated frontman Merry lays down the massive drop-tuned guitarwork, roaring out his lines, while cohort Battersby literally beats the life out of his kit. It sounds live, raw, volatile, and dangerous

Other tracks by The Fumes:  High City Lights  -  Cuddle Up THe Devil

The Frowning Clouds - Purple Heart     Rock, Live Performance 30/07/2010
Amrap Live Music Recordings_3SYN_SYN Approved Artist of the Month The Frowning Clouds recorded by3SYN as part of the stations monthly local Australian feature artist series.
A rock track with jangly guitars reminiscent of 60's psych. The tune is capped off with classic R&B grooves.

The Frowning Clouds - Propellers     Rock, Garage 06/09/2012
The Frowning Clouds play 60s Garage, Freakbeat and R&B. It's lovely garage rock that sounds sort of like The Kinks by way of Geelong.
‘Propellers’ oozes with the hip shakin’, sing-along goodness that the boys from Geelong do so well. Produced by Owen Penglis (Straight Arrows, Royal Headache), ‘Propellers’ is the second single to be taken from their forthcoming album ‘Paper Jungle’.

The Frowning Clouds - All Night Long     Rock, Garage 12/10/2011
Geelong locals, The Frowning Clouds, have been turning heads since the release of their debut album 'Listen Closlier'. All sixties sass and swinging beats, the attention is well justified.
The first sample from the five-piece's upcoming album, the follow up to last year's Listen Closlier, 'All Night Long', is a sound indication of just where The Frowning Clouds are circa 2011, which is squarely around 1965.

The Floors - You Got to Move     Blues/Roots, Rock, Blues, Roots 24/02/2012
Sincere and effectively simple; The Floors’ raw and primitive live sound summons a similarly raw and primitive reaction... people dance. They sing along.
In the studio The Floors are a live band. They perform their songs together in a room, captured by a few German microphones and a friend with good ears. The life of the recording is the performance... You Got to Move!
