Five Acre Field infuses Folk-Rock with Classical twist. The classically trained members of the group employ their skills upon seemingly simple tunes to create their own unique sound.
A Celtic tinged pop song set in a rollicking rhythm Lyrically this song depicts a day at the beach spent by a new couple. The days events evolve in parallel with their burgeoning relationship.

I'm a singer, songwriter, guitarist and performer. I love playing music to make people feel good. I hope to get my music around the world to help people in need.
This is a straight up hard rock song with a unique sound. It's about being shy when you see a girl that blows you away and you are just hoping for that second chance to approach her and make magic happen. :)

Lieutenant Jam - I'm Not Insane     Rock, Garage, Grunge, Pop 30/04/2013

I'm Not Insane is track number 3 on the debut release 'When I Say Jump' by Lieutenant Jam. It's about 'one of those days' when people talk behind your back but give you a dodgy fake smile when they say you. Lieutenant Jam says no!

Scarlett Cook - Songbird     Classical, Rock, Goth, Folk 30/04/2013
Scarlett Cook is Melbourne's most unconventional pianist, singer, songwriter. The heavy rock/metal influenced composer successfully breaks music industry norms with her dark, dissonant, dramatic sounds and sentimentally mad, melancholy vocals.
Songbird- The summoning of the muse. A tribute to the muse. A song ironically written about...writers block. And the final ultimatum, the choice between the light or the dark.

The Rushing Dolls - So Thin That You Are     Rock, Psychedelic, Pop 30/04/2013
RD's are a 90's inspired melodic yet melancholic Rock band from Sydney.
A very moody dynamic and emotive piece at time at times can be a little anthemic and lends itself to filmic visuals.

Through a Glass Darkly - Double Standard     Rock, Retro, Pop 30/04/2013
A 70s stadium rock blues punk folk three piece.
70's stadium rock reborn. Big guitars and vocal harmonies. Zeppelin meets Fleetwood Mac? Lyrically, it's a role reversal - a male groupie isn’t sure how assertive he should be to the female rock star he’s got a ‘thing’ going on with.

Other tracks by Through a Glass Darkly:  Dark Country  -  Losing My Mind
Brave Face - Any Other Love     Pop, Rock 27/04/2013
Brave Face play songs for a day dream nation. Their music is dream filled, coupled with luscious reverb drenched guitars and sweet melodies.
Any Other Love is the first single from Melbourne's Brave Face. Unashamedly raw and honest in vibe, the track evokes images or like something out of a John Hughes film.

Hailer - Postcard     Rock, Pop, Atmospheric 23/04/2013
For this Australian indie band, stalwarts of the Sydney scene and yet somehow still outsiders, it’s been a twisted unpredictable path from their 2010 debut album to this new record.
Raw and powerful 'Postcard' is the second single taken from Hailer's second album Another Way. A rock / pop track that kicks in from the very opening bar and makes it perfect for radio.

Other tracks by Hailer:  Spooky Clams

Alex Watts & the Foreign Tongue perform intelligent, energetic and dangerous rock/pop in the vein of Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe.

Steve Case - Living The Dream     Folk, Country, Easy Listening, Roots 23/04/2013
Steve Case lives in a van and is Living The Dream!
It's an autobiographical account of the past year having chucked in my old life to travel around in a van playing music and essentially "Live The Dream". I've realised "home" isn't four walls and a picket fence, it's about being in the company of friends and wherever you feel happiest.
