Methyl Ethel have shared 'L’Heure des Sorcières', the new single taken from their upcoming album, Everything Is Forgotten out Friday 3rd March via Dot Dash / Remote Control Records.
‘L’Heure des Sorcières’, meaning ‘The Witches' Hour’ in French, the track demonstrates a side of the band that is dark and fantastical, Webb's filtered vocal descending low into the mix to erupt soaring over a surging, foreboding arrangement. It's an arrangement that heralds a band transformed.

Methyl Ethel have shared 'Ubu', the new single taken from their upcoming album, Everything Is Forgotten out Friday 3rd March via Dot Dash / Remote Control Records.
Following ‘No. 28’ is ‘Ubu’, a frenetic pop song inspired by Alfred Jarre’s surrealist play Ubu Roi. A self-portrait of self-flagellation and guilt. Its companion video, directed by Paxi, takes some of its absurdist cues from Jarre.

Lost Animal - Too Late To Die Young     Electronic, Funk, RnB 21/10/2016
Lost Animal has released his new single 'Too Late To Die Young' taken from his upcoming album, You Yang, out Friday 21st October 2016 via Dot Dash / Remote Control.
'Too Late To Die Young' is the second single from You Yang. There’s a scuzzy, down-in-the-gutter vibe (in that Nick Cave kind of way) to the new album, with a distinct dub influence this time around. Brooklyn Vegan premiered it explaining you can especially hear that in this track.

Big Smoke - Best Of You     Rock, Alternative Country 28/09/2016
Big Smoke share their first single 'Best Of You' from their forthcoming debut album 'Time Is Golden' out October 28 via Barely Dressed / Remote Control.

Melbourne's chaotic Audio/Visual two piece friendships release 'Move (Fast)' ft. Yaw Faso & Unsoundbwoy from forthcoming debut album, Nullarbor 1988-1989, out 30th September via Dot Dash / Remote Control.
'Move (Fast)' is a high tension heater, featuring the rapid-fire otherworldly vocals of Yaw Faso and Unsoundbwoy. Upon close listening, the track harbours a looming synth line which echoes that of 'When I Feel Like Killing, I Murder,' revealing a sense of cogency amongst the seemingly chaotic Nullarbor 1989-1989.

friendships - The Roof     Electronic, Drum 'n' Bass / Jungle 07/09/2016
Melbourne-based experimental electronic duo friendships have released their first audio-visual cut 'The Roof' from their forthcoming debut album, Nullarbor 1988-1989, out 30th September via Dot Dash / Remote Control Records.
'The Roof' is a stark reflection upon Misha Grace's fall from a New York City rooftop at CMJ last year. Together with Nic Brown, the experience gave way for 'The Roof'. An enveloping piece, building upon visceral monologue and brooding imagery, reaching Misha's fall to almost-death at multi-sensory climax.

Teeth & Tongue - Turn, Turn, Turn     Rock, Pop 11/08/2016
On Teeth & Tongue’s fourth album, Give Up On Your Health, Jess Cornelius has crafted kitchen-sink dramas and relationship vignettes that follow a lineage from Ken Loach through Jarvis Cocker.
Jess wrote ‘Turn, Turn, Turn' while very temporarily staying in West Brunswick. The first half was actually written on an acoustic guitar.

For a while, when they played the song live, they would segue into the Beach Boys' ‘Kokomo’ halfway through, unfortunately that version never made it onto the record.
