Mitzi comply with a classic pop sensibility. Entwined by a backdrop of disco beats, syncopated guitar and bass grooves lies the Mitzi sound- dreamy vocals and a vintage analog warmth.
Mitzi’s blend of lazy disco grooves and anthemic pop hooks is reminiscent of DFA’s own Holy Ghost, admittedly with a sunnier disposition and typically Australian breezyness. All 3 tracks are excellent. These guys will be worth looking out for in 2011, without doubt.”– Juno
