Employing stylistic techniques from post-rock and progressive genres yet being being highly interested in pop melodies, the band create a unique form of (dare we say) ‘Dream Rock’.
Likened to a heavier Coldplay, the band draws inspiration from Oceansize, Radiohead, Massive Attack and Thrice.
Entering the live Sydney arena in Mid 2011 and playing with the likes of Self Is A Seed, Jericco, Marlow and The Dead Love, Minus House set to work formulating an EP that could accurately represent the ambient atmosphere they unleash onstage.
The result is ‘Ornaments’, a six track recording released in October 2011.
Minus House hit the stage of several NSW venues in mid-October to support the release of their debut EP.
Punters beware, your musical slumber is about to be penetrated by the likes of Minus House.
