TOYDRUM - I've Got A Future (feat. Gavin Clark) [Nick Cave & Warren Ellis rework]     Rock, Cover Version, Experimental, Electronic 09/02/2017
TOYDRUM – aka James Griffith and Pablo Clements – will release a collective interpretation of the duo’s catalogue to date, My Eye On You (To Reinvision), on 7th April.
Taken from the album My Eye On You is ‘I’ve Got A Future (feat. Gavin Clark)’, which has been gently deconstructed by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis. The original version of the song provided a fittingly emotive soundtrack to the closing credits of This Is England ’90.

Geowulf - Saltwater     Pop, Experimental 30/07/2016
Geowulf is Star Kendrick (vocals) and Toma Banjanin (guitar/production), a dream-pop duo based between London, Gothenburg and Berlin but originally from Noosa.
Channeling sweet sounds reminiscent of Beach House, Mazzy Star and Lana Del Rey, Geowulf's debut offering ‘Saltwater’, produced by Duncan Mills (The HUNNA, Peace, Jake Bugg, Catfish & The Bottlemen) is a sinuous and melodic pop single; a bright and uplifting introduction to a band bound for big things.

The Trouble With Templeton - Soldiers (Snowbird remix)     Rock 24/06/2014
Formed in 2011, The Trouble With Templeton is the creation of 23 year old singer/songwriter Thomas Calder.
'Soldiers', a track taken from Brisbane indie band, The Trouble With Templeton's debut album, has been remixed and reworked by Snowbird, a duo featuring ex-Cocteau Twins member and Bella Union head honcho, Simon Raymonde.

Garbage - Girls Talk feat. Brody Dalle     Rock 20/05/2014
Legendary American rockers Garbage have teamed up with Melbourne's own (and Distillers vocalist) Brody Dalle on this standalone single.
Originally released on 10" vinyl this year for Record Store Day, 'Girls Talk' features fast pizzicato guitars and cellos and ex-Melburnian and Distillers vocalist, Brody Dalle duetting with the inimitable Shirley Manson.

The Acid - Basic Instinct     Electronic, Atmospheric, Pop 18/02/2014
The Acid are 3 artists based in LA, including Australian artist Ry X providing vocals on the groups self titled debut EP.
The guitar, at times three or four of them layered together, seamlessly blends in amongst bass shudders, beat pulses and elongated drones as Ry X’s vocals beatify then rage amidst delicate synth lines and pitched down field recordings of street noise, birds, and the clacking of bicycle spokes.

RY X - Berlin     Folk, Pop 11/12/2013
The undulating feel of RY X’s voice is at times defeated and at others defiant, but it is this constant transition between serenity and catharsis that makes him uniquely special.
At just under three minutes, ‘Berlin’ is the definition of short and sweet. The song’s delicate guitar and emotive, echoing falsetto vocals draw you in so completely and feel so engulfing that it’s easy to forget this is simply one man’s voice and an acoustic guitar.

Dead Can Dance - Children Of The Sun     World, Ambience, Atmospheric, Live Performance 17/04/2013
Dead Can Dance are an ethereal neoclassical world music duo which formed in Melbourne, Australia, in August 1981 with Lisa Gerrard on vocals and Brendan Perry on vocals and guitar.
“Children of the Sun” is the album’s ‘welcome to the show’, statement said Perry. The lyric addresses human evolution and how our genetic code is infused with ancient memory, right up to the present, celebrating nature – the Woodstock generation’s legacy.
