In one short year Liam has realised his dream of being named Toyota Star Maker, seeing the release of his debut album, Wild Heart and touring with some of his musical heroes including Adam Brand, James Blundell and The Sunny Cowgirls to name a few. It all started in January 2009 when Liam took out the coveted prize of Toyota Star Maker. The announcement came as no surprise to Liam as he’d been working towards this goal for the past few years. When he was 16 years old, Liam Brew was asked to write a school essay titled “My Plans After School”. While his mates wrote about uni, surfing and highly paid jobs, Liam had only one goal: to win the Toyota Star Maker Quest in 2009. Just a few short months later, he was spearheading a whole new generation of country stars, with the release of his debut album, Wild Heart on the award-winning Compass Bros label. Wild Heart is pure country with a very cool, contemporary edge. With the beginning of a new year, Liam is preparing to return to Tamworth, the place where his musical journey began.
