Kathy is from a small country town in NSW called Dunedoo & is 1 of 12 children, surrounded by country music as a child Kathy was destined to play & sing country music. Kathy is married to a fellow musician & has 2 children. Kathy has played in bands & duo's over the years everywhere from Field days, Pubs, Clubs & Weddings to a residency for 7 years at a very popular country music venue in the Hunter Valley. Kathy started songwriting in 2006 & found she loved it with a passion & found she was writing songs very easily & they were finding a very familiar connection with people all over the world. Kathy released her debut album "Waitin' on a Good Man" in November 2009 & her 2nd Album "Hot & Bothered" in Nov 2011. Kathy has gained radio airplay all over Australia as well as Nashville, France & Holland. Kathy has been a Finalist in the ASA Songwriting Awards in 2010 & 2011 with a total of 7 songs from her debut album, she has been nominated for the Prestigious "Rudy Brandsma" Award in 2010 & 2011 & a Finalist in the 2009 & 2010 TSA Awards.
