JudahCall formed in 2005 when a group of friends got together with a desire to use their musical talents to serve God and to reach out to the lost. All four members have been serving in their local churches’ worship teams for a number of years and believe music can be a great tool for the gospel. Not everyone will come to a church and listen to a preacher preach, but almost everyone listens to music.
Judah is a Hebrew word for ‘praised’ or ‘Let Him (God) be praised’. Through our lives and through our music we praise God, and we want to send a call out to others to praise Him. Our song lyrics are inspired by personal experiences, struggles, and revelations, all pointing to the source of our creativity and hope which is Jesus.
JudahCall have performed in various churches, youth events, schools, outreaches, and secular venues. As part of our ministry we share a testimony and/or an exhortation and have seen many people blessed. Our aim is to really get the message of Jesus out there and impact as many people as we can.
About this track...
Inspired by Erwin McManus' book 'Wide Awake' which encourages curiosity, discovery, exploration, and inevitably moving towards growth. Equally inspired by Ken & Charis' 20 month old daughter Halle just watching her never ending curiosity as she tries to see, touch, taste, and do everything while often not knowing any limits.
