Josh Rawiri‘s new album ‘Molecular Teleportation’ has been set for release on October 7 and showcases his evolution as an independent Australian singer-songwriter.

This 6’8” ex-cheffing, body boarding, tangent riding muso has created his own genre of Australian coastal blues roots rock never forgetting to serve up with lashings of deep dub reggae grooves.

Relentless touring since 2009 has built Josh Rawiri a widespread following across regional Australia headlining in numerous cities and towns across the nation. His debut album's launch tour (If you need love 2009), saw Josh traverse over 20,000Kms of Australia in just 6 weeks and spurred him onto 24 months of solid touring activity.

In May 2010 Josh collaborated with drummer Declan Kelly (Katie Noonan, Guy Sebastian), Cello virtuoso Anatoli Torjinski (Monseir Camembert) and strings from the Sydney symphony to record the new album ‘molecular teleportation’.
"Feel Good" was released as the first single from 'molecular teleportation', the debut film clip received airplay on rage, MAX tv, channel V and channel 10, taking out three Australian Film awards.

On the live scene expect to see Josh Rawiri dish out the soul with Declan Kelly’s gritty beats and ‘the crazy cellists’ world music inspired cello.
