Amrap's AirIt | Australian Music Radio Airplay Project :: Rock :: Heads of Charm - Okay Yes Please

Heads of Charm - Okay Yes Please

Heads of Charm - Okay Yes Please
Heads of Charm have been grinding away at their craft since 2013 with an EP and a series of singles that have earned nods from triple j, national community radio and praise from Vice, Tone Deaf, The Music and Fasterlouder. Slots with the likes of …Trail of Dead, The Hard-Ons, Pulled Apart By Horses, Camp Cope and a bundle more have seen the lads rack up 40+ shows in the past twelve months.

What else ‘ave these Heads of Charm fellas been up to? Outside of enjoying mimosas together in airport lounges whenever the opportunity arises, Heads of Charm...uh, charmed the pants off punters and industry suits alike at BigSound 2016. The AU Review was fit to burst in their showcase review, exclaiming that “a three-person band shouldn’t have such an atmosphere”. That slot landed them a spot in The AU Review's Top 10 best on-ground at the conference.

Now these seasoned road warriors are taking their show on the road, taking an old-school style approach to hitting both regional towns, in-stores and all ages giggos. Plus shows with the indomitable DZ Deathrays. No biggie.

‘Ok Yes Please’ is the first enthralling preview from Heads of Charm’s forthcoming debut LP.

About this track...

Spartan and powerful, ‘Ok Yes Please’ is Vast. Anchored by boundless, vibrating basstones and resonant vocal lines, it'll haunt your summer nights. “I’m a user, a consumer” - a dire, pertinent refrain. Boasting shades of My Disco and The Drones, Heads of Charm capably carry the Australian underground rock flag.
