Melbourne band Gosteleradio return in September 2011 with their self-titled EP.
Following on from well received debut album, 2010’s ‘Great Deeds Against the Dead’, this EP showcases the evolving songwriting skills of a band described as ‘a mix of London psychedelics and Californian sun’.
The EP was primarily recorded in one day in June 2011 (the numerous vocals were tracked later), at Smiley McSlidey rehearsal studios in East Brunswick. Long time mixer and pal Nao Anzai rigged up an improvised recording studio with a few mics and a laptop on the day, and has since mixed and mastered the recordings. Scottish lasses Good Wives and Warriors have again provided the artwork for the EP.
