As the group evolved in tandem with the burgeoning Hobart scene; their songs became more muscular and melodic, incorporating strong elements of cabaret and audience interaction.
This culminated with performances at both the Tasmanian and Victorian Falls Festivals, a national tour, selection as a Triple J ‘Next Crop’ artist, and the release of ‘We Never Sleep’, the band’s first major album.
Since then, Enola Fall have supported Amanda Palmer, The Panics, Architecture In Helsinki, Cloud Control, The Jezabels, The Violent Femmes, Eskimo Joe and Something For Kate.
In 2009, the band released ‘Glorious Five Year Plan’, an indie pop album piled high with dense imagery and soaring cabaret vocals.
Enola Fall were recently voted ‘Best Tasmanian Band’ at the State’s Amplified Awards, and are widely regarded as one of the state’s major ‘break out’ bands.
