Troubadour, conjure woman and story weaver, Emily Davis has released her self-produced second album entitled, ‘Undone’. Marking a stylistic change from her debut album, ‘Moving in Slow Motion’ (produced by Aria award winner Monique Brumby), Davis draws on goth-country, swampy blues and gypsy folk
influences to weave narratives from her spectacularly dark dream world. While ghosts were the principal muses for most of the tracks, inspiration and imagery for these songs were drawn from intense lucid dreaming and dark corners of family history from her mixed Lebanese-Australian
bloodline. Davis' nostalgic approach to her life has bled its way into this record, proving that
from darkness comes hope; tragedy breeds triumph and reigniting memories keeps long lost ghosts alive.
A versatile and powerful performer, Emily has appeared at festivals including Womadelaide and Peats Ridge and has headlined the Semaphore Music Festival, along with winning supports for Australian artists Clare Bowditch, Kate Miller Heidke, C.W Stoneking and The Audreys. Her live
