Eli Wolfe is releasing a new 5-track EP, 'Cards are on the table', recorded after coming back from tours across three continents, which included festivals in Canada, concerts with a platinum-selling artist across Germany, an encounter with Futurama in the US and an ambassadorship for The Line in Australia.
From the catchy title track to the delicate and brooding melodies of other songs, the EP is a heartfelt and mesmerising experience reflecting on beauty, truth and the ache of love calling and loved ones lost.
An unexpected blend of folk, pop and blues, the EP will be independently released on Magic Journey Recordings on 7 March with distribution through the artist-friendly MGM, and features Eli's own artwork.
For Eli, music and drawing have always been personal and meditative experiences.
Attracted to the arts of illustration, painting, written word and music since early childhood, Eli's love for audio-visual communication has grown to include film and animation, which he presents at live shows wherever possible.
Painting vivid images with his sound, the self-taught left-handed guitarist captivates with his unconventional playing style on 6 and 12-string acoustic guitars. Along with enchanting vocals and thought-provoking poetry, Eli opens a doorway to a timeless place.
