has a live touring show and book and DVD deals. Last year she was nominated for a Bafta , picked up the AFI and ADG as well as a nomination for a Logie and the Japan Prize. Her first album , get grubby, was launched in 2010. Dirtgirl's big passion is the planet and celebrating getting outside and getting grubby. ‘Dig It’ is the much anticipated follow up album to ‘Get Grubby!’. It contains 13 songs that have all proven to be firm favourites with the show’s fans around the world including ‘Funky In The Compost’, ‘Little Things’ and title track ‘Dig it!’
Central to the playlist is every little drop, recent winner of the children’s music category of the International Songwriting Competition for songwriter-composer Hewey Eustace from the Dirtgirlworld creative team, which also includes his life-partner Cate McQuillen, the show’s co-creator and the voice of Dirtgirl on the album.
