The Cumbia Cosmonauts are Saca La Mois DJ!! and Soup, who perform as a duo or invite a band of guest musicians to make each live performance a unique visual and sonic adventure featuring lasers, casio keyboards, theremin, synthesizers, accordion, space-surf guitar, brass, and plenty percussion. The Cumbia Cosmonauts are at the forefront of the growing global phenomenon of Nueva Cumbia, and have supported the likes of Gotan Project (France), Thievery Corporation (USA) and Aterciopelados (Colombia) on their recent Australian tours, and are making their mark in Europe having played with the likes of Chicha Libre (USA), Munchi (Netherlands), Makossa & Megablast (Austria), DJ/rupture (USA), Bomba Estereo (Colombia), Sonido Martines (Argentina) and El Hijo de la Cumbia (Argentina).
