Briscoe is a Sydney six-piece making country-tinged power pop fronted by ex-Kid Confucius drummer Bart Denaro.
Produced independently, "Day Job" was recorded mostly in bedrooms and lounge rooms after work. Bart wrote this song at his office in the process of slowly dying inside. It’s a garbled, petty internal argument that offers no insights and makes indignant prosaic points to no-one. But it’s fun. And short.
