Country Town Collective put the "collective" back into collective. With 10 members based between 2 cities (Darwin and Adelaide) they mix and match instruments at every turn (though usually perform as a 5 piece band). Some call them folk, some call them rock, some call them experimental, almost everyone calls them sweet, soulful, gentle and mellow. Their mostly live-recorded songs feature layered acoustic instruments, referencing everyone from Bjork to Pink Floyd, yet they also have the knack of a hooky tune and great choruses. What more could you want in life?!
