Melbourne's (via Cape Town) five-piece band had a busy 2011, which saw them receive international acclaim from Pitchfork, The Guardian, NME, Spin, Dazed, Filter, Discobelle and the like, regularly chart on Hype Machine / We Are Hunted / Elbows, debut their live show at CMJ and have two singles on high rotation in their quasi-homeland of Australia.
Their split single is the band’s first offering since their 2010 debut album, Gold on Gold, which was released from a then-unknown band who have since amassed a long list of champions from some of the world’s most respected music press and a steadily growing international fanbase.

Clubfeet's ‘City of Light' displays an immense evolution in the band’s sound. Combining mellow synths, driving percussion and a sense of melody that is both compelling and understated, Clubfeet proves why this track is becoming the darling of many a record collection the world over.
