Amrap’s AirIt is community radio’s Australian music catalogue and distribution service. Any Australian community radio program maker and station library coordinator can apply for a free AirIt account. They login to order customized CDs containing the music they want to broadcast at no cost to them or instantly download the music.

Anyone else can browse the catalogue to see artist information, links to buy music and official artist videos — but only authorised radio users can login to access and order the music.

From the colourful streets of Byron Bay, Blackbirds brings an eloquence and simple elegance to sound which is most likened to a harmonic bath of honey.

Following their appearances on Australia's Got Talent Blackbirds fans across the globe offered to put up the money to enable them to independently record their first album 'Blackbirds'.

Backbirds have performed at festivals around the country and supported the legendary Eric Bibb on his Australian tour.

The stunning lead singer Renee Simone has featured on albums by Xavier Rudd, Deadly Hunta and Raz Bin Sam, making her well know to audiences around the world.

About this track...

This traditional song was taught to Renee while in Zambia working in remote communities. The song means "all worldly things shall pass but our souls will always remain so this is where to focus". With Blackbirds, Renee produced an interpretation of the song including sound bites from her trip.
