Australian tenor Bernard Hull started the Australian premiere of Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera" in 1990 and has since performed in that musical around 2,000 times in ten different roles, nine cities and five countries (so far - and growing). He toured Australia and New Zealand in "Cats" as 'Gus The Theatre Cat, Bustopher Jones and Growl Tiger. He has performed lead tenor roles with major opera companies both in Australia and in New Zealand and has also appeared in several feature films.

Bernard has released seven albums on CD:
"Favourite Hymns" (2012) - Classic hymns with Bernard's original, contemporary arrangements.
"Abba, Father" (2009) All original contemporary Christian music.
"Christmas Joy" (2007) - Six traditional carols and four of Bernard's own Christmas songs all with Bernard's original arrangements.
"Jesus-Messiah the musical" (2007 double album) - Bernard's all original rock opera.
"Theatrix - on the stage" (2006) - Songs from or inspired by Bernard's theatrical career.
"The Lord's House" (1998) - Contemporary Christian music (including ten original tracks)
"Risen" (1991) - All original Contemporary Christian music.

Bernard plays guitar, electric bass, drum kit and keyboard.

Most of his albums are truly solo efforts, created almost entirely by Bernard alone.

A fresh, new arrangement of the classic hymn Amazing Grace with additional music and lyrics by Bernard Hull. Bernard's lead guitar takes the place of the traditional bagpipes and his voice and orchestration does the rest. This is an 4minute 20second edit of the longer (5:22) album track.
