The White Goods - When Do I Give Up     Pop 30/04/2012
Post-ironic-indie-rock-hip-hop.
Absolutely genre-less, The White Goods latest single 'When Do I Give Up' contemplates throwing the music in. The reader is left so confused at the end of the song, is it brilliant, is it bullocks, that they cannot answer the thesis statement either and never will.

The White Goods - Gina     Pop 23/01/2012
Scary pop, indie hip rap, bushranger rock. There's a million things you can call The White Goods, but it's better to listen than talk.
A song that takes on an oft-thought about but nary writ about topic: falling in love with a parlour worker who is largely happy, confident and content and doesn't want the affections of pitiful men. Scoring some decent airings on the Triple J clothesline late last year, Gina's a keeper.

‘The Wedded Bliss are just plain wonderful, a rose scented brew of beer-tap poetry and narrative country with a side plate of 50s rock melody. Cheerful, melancholy, funny…’ BMA Magazine.
A hard-drivin' acoustic blues/rockabilly number. 'Floodwater' is a euphemism for getting drunk. The character in the song - in typical hard country fashion - has lost his girl..and decides to go and get blotto...with the typical consequences. Gene meets Hank with a little nod to the Louvin Bros.
