We wrote the song whilst travelling up the north coast of NSW in June 2011. It took a while to finish writing the song , we kind of wrote the first main feel and then later realised that a completely different feel could also be fitted into the song.

A quasi rap/spoken verse leads into a nice New York Soul chorus with lovely melodies and tongue in cheek lyrics. The solo is a standout . One College station said it sounded like a cros between Frank Zappa and Justin Timberlake. I wrote it in 3 separate MacDonalds

This track is an upbeat summery tune, with a slight jazzy feel to it. Featuring harmonious walls of vocal splendour, and an eruption of pounding drums - namely a sizeably-beefy drum/percussion breakdown mid-song. 'Sail Away’ tears down the walls of what a conventional pop song should be.
